Such a great place to study. Alicias assignment “volcanoes” this is the best place, volcanic islands and here at Isabela, on the second newest island formed by the eruption of FIVE volcanoes being one at only 40 minute ride from town (by bus) then an 8X2 Km walk along the worlds second biggest caldera 9X11 Kms wide, where in Oct 2005, during 10 days, it was the natural reservoir for lava rivers flowing from the Sierra Negra Volcanoe. There are videos taken by population which I’m sure we can find for U to take. Monday’s excursion to the Volcano will be steping across the beggining of times. Enjoy it.
Unfortunately, we picked a very foggy day and couldn’t see anything 🙁 Fortunately, I’m sure we can find a lot of pictures on the internet and we certainly learned a lot!
