Night out in KL with former colleague
We went to one of my favourite steer markets and ate my the best shrimp in town, crab and shellfish.
Leendert got his first beer (ok a malt one) – notice the nice contrast with the background (it’s like a before/after picture!)
We tried the Durian and the faces say it all!

IN KUALA LUMPUR
It is a city large with tall buildings everywhere. That would cause tourists (like us) to get lost and go in all the streets around except for one which is the correct one… It took us about 40-45 minutes just to discover that the apartment was around the corner. Yesterday we got lunch at 3:00pm. After all, we did not get the best night of sleep on the plane. Even, we all agreed that even thought we got to have a break of economy class, this was the most restless over night flight we had had until now, and dad (who has flown a lot) even said they woke us at least 45 minutes too early. But we did get to go up too our room right when we got there so we all tooIt is a city large with tall buildings everywhere. But we did get to go up too our room right when we got there so we all took a nap. Mum and dad had to wake me up because it was like about 1:00pm. Our Contact Person showed us maps of around and we went straight to eat. We had greens, soup and eggs. The eggs had the normal yoke but the part that is usually white, were all stringish (yes, my invented word…). It was soooo good. Kuala Lumpur is wonderful. There is one problem,……… WAY TOO WARM!!!!

So we switched from Dubai (dry) heat to Kuala Lumpur – Humid and 27 degrees (centigrade)
Great to be in the region. Straight off to walk the town and visit the the prime KL site, the Petronas building – visited the mall and had a great street dinner.
Ok, so we like Sushi…

Le vent était si fort que même si tu essayait de ne pas sourire que ce ne serrais pas possible ! Leendert et mon père son aller si haut que le maître pouvait presque pas les r ‘attraper. On c’est trop éclaté.
Dubai – evening routine
Building sandcastles is part of the evening routine. The water is nice and warm, the beach sand gets a high rating, and many passers-by comment on our constructions. Tomorrow we’ll attempt the Burj!
